State Representative Joe Moody was first elected to represent HD 78 (El Paso) in 2008. He is the House Pro Tempore and he serves as the Vice-Chair of the Calendars Committee, and a member of the Redistricting and Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence Committees. He received his History degree from New Mexico State University and his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
